Transform Your Mind, Transform Your Life at our award winning practice (2026).

At Rebekah Jones Psychotherapy, Supervision and Training, we believe in the power of healing and personal growth.

Our tailored approaches to trauma therapy (and trauma-informed supervision and training), foster resilience, mindfulness, and emotional well-being for individuals and couples alike.

Unlock Your Full Potential

Discover the path to emotional wellness and self-discovery. Our team specialize in psychotherapy and trauma therapy for clients, and offer individual and couple sessions both online and in person, as well as a wide range of therapeutic approaches from highly trained, professional therapists and well supported therapists-in-training. The team is led by Rebekah Jones, an award winning Consultant Psychotherapist, Trauma Therapist and Clinical Supervisor, who has over 30 years experience in working within mental health and learning disability services.

Our supervision services are designed for student and qualified therapists, and are conducted both online and in person. We have the capacity and skill sets to support counsellors, psychotherapists, CBT therapists and mental health practitioners as well as students from all of these areas.

In addition, we offer comprehensive training for those working to the mental health arena, or who wish to extend their knowledge and skill in this area. We offer an impressive CPD programme online, which includes webinars, specialist training and trauma-focused training, all suitable for a wide range of professionals.

Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

Rebekah is an award winning, triple accredited, Masters level UKCP Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and leads the practice of the team.

We provide compassionate and effective psychotherapy which is set within psychodynamic understanding, and is tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual or couple.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy aims to consider the whole life of the individuals in therapy, as well as any dynamics experienced both in the past and currently. These dynamics, along with the life history, can aid understanding of why difficulties may be arising and what change may be helpful in order to live a more fulfilling, happy, peaceful life.

Trauma Psychotherapy and Trauma-Informed Approaches

Rebekah is an award willing, fully qualified Traumatologist, and is highly experienced in providing trauma therapy for a range of clients, as well as Critical Incident Debrief for a range of professionals. Within this, she uses a range of approaches in her work including EMDR, ACT, Sand Tray Therapy and Mindfulness to name just a few.

All of the team work from a trauma-informed position as a result, and use recognised tools and models to provide the most effective approach for individual clients.

CBT / TF-CBT

We have a resident BABCP qualified CBT and TF-CBT Psychotherapist, Gemma, who provides an excellent range of CBT interventions and sessions for clients.

Gemma offers evidence-based CBT psychotherapy which is tailored to meet a client's individual needs and is guided by a client's goals, values and personal circumstances.

As well as working with clients impacted by Trauma, Anxiety Disorders and Depression, Gemma has also completed specialist training to support clients living with Long-Term Conditions.

Neurodiversity-affirming therapy

We consider that neurodiversity-affirming therapy is demonstrated when practitioners work from a position of accepting and respecting the diversity of human brains and minds, whilst recognising that any differences in neurological function are natural variations rather than deficits.

Within this, we believe that there's no single "normal" way for people to think, learn, or behave, and consider that all neurotypes are valid. We emphasise the importance of support and accommodation, rather than trying to "fix" or change individuals to fit a neurotypical standard, which in our opinion so often is the expectation in today's society.

We consider ourselves blessed to have a team which consists of professionals with both professional and lived experience in being neurodivergent, and we hope that this shows in our way of working with our clients, their loved ones, carers and families.

Sex Therapy

Sex therapy helps individuals, couples and polyamorous groups to work towards overcoming sexual difficulties by exploring any underlying physical and/or emotional factors that are contributing to the difficulties. This is achieved through building a therapeutic relationship, psychoeducation and therapeutic exercises. Sex therapy does not involve hands-on sexual acts or examination.

Sexual issues can range widely, and can include pain during sex, sexual performance anxiety, anxiety about intimacy, difficulties caused by chronic illness, as well as a lack of sexual comfort, confidence and physical and emotional connection. Therapy sessions focus on understanding the problem, developing communication, and building a new way of connecting.

Relationship Therapy

Relationship therapy, often referred to as couples therapy, is a form of talking therapy which is designed to help couples and those in relationships to improve their relationship by exploring issues, developing communication and resolving conflicts.

This form of therapy is not just for married couples, and can be highly beneficial for any multiple of humans who are in a committed relationship, regardless of gender, sexual orientation or whether they live together.

Eco-psychotherapy

Eco-psychotherapy - which is sometimes referred to as ecotherapy and nature therapy - is a therapeutic approach which brings together the healing power of nature with traditional psychotherapy. By achieving this, the therapeutic intention is to improve mental and physical well-being by fostering a deeper connection between the client and the natural world.

This mode of psychotherapy can involve taking therapy sessions outdoors, bringing plants into the therapy space, engaging in activities like gardening or forest bathing, as well as using nature-based metaphors to aid healing and provide a holistic perspective on well-being.

We are blessed to have 'The Garden' at our practice, and all eco-psychotherapeutic sessions are provided in this space to ensure a safe space is available for clients. In this magical space there are varied possibilities for eco-psychotherapeutic work, and an overarching calm, inviting open space for clients to be in nature whilst engaging therapeutically.

Professional Supervision

Our supportive supervision for both students and qualified therapists enhances skills, confidence, and professional growth. Our supervisors offer support with interventions, risk management, diagnostic formulation, and best practice within counselling and psychotherapy.

Rebekah is an award winning, UKCP accredited Psychotherapist and trained Individual and Group Supervisor, who works both online and in person using an integrative or psychodynamic approach.

She has supervised therapists still in training, as well as fully qualified therapists, for many years and remains involved in counselling and psychotherapy training programmes as a Supervisor, both for individuals and groups.

Dynamic Training Programs and CPD for Therapists

We offer engaging training programs designed for those in the mental health field, ensuring best practices and innovative approaches, as well as supporting newly qualified counsellors and psychotherapists to make a smooth transition into independent practice.

Rebekah leads this programme, as an experienced Tutor, who has taught on many counselling and psychotherapy training programmes since 2017 and continues to work as a Consulting Tutor and Visiting Lecturer for two well known training providers in London.

During 2026, six comprehensive training programmes will be launched as webinars which clinicians will be able to book onto independently, and study at a time that suits their needs.

These will include:

- Working with Risk and Suicidality in Counselling

- Understanding the Function of Assessment in Counselling

- Introduction to Psychodynamic Counselling

- Recognising our Limits: Confidence within Competency as a Counsellor

- Introduction to Ecotherapy for Counsellors and Psychotherapists

Mindfulness / Meditation Groups

Mindfulness Meditation Groups are provided on a weekly basis, in 'The Zen Den' - our on site dediated mindfulness meditation room.

Mindfulness brings together meditative and breathing exercises, and helps individuals develop present moment awareness and manage negative thought patterns, particularly in the context of depression and anxiety.

Our mindfulness groups are open to all, and remain small, at a maximum of 4 attendees, to ensure a calm and quiet environment.

Testimonals

Quite simply, I can't thank you enough, Rebekah. My life has transformed over the past year, and I am back at work! Truly amazing.

Rebekah is a fantastic supervisor who is also human.... A supervisor I can speak openly to, and who I know has my back, especially in those moments of self-doubt. She has a wealth of knowledge, but no hierarchical agenda. I cannot recommend her enough.

Gemma is a great therapist, and I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone struggling with anxiety and low mood.
